Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge
A Journey for RMHC and Families in Need
On October 26, our team set out on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge, a test of resilience and dedication for a cause that’s close to all our hearts: supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). Our Managing Director, Rob, led us from the very first step to the finish line, guiding us through each peak and making sure our team remained focused, motivated, and united.
Money Raised
The Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge covers three of the tallest mountains in the Yorkshire Dales: Pen-y-ghent (694 meters), Whernside (736 meters), and Ingleborough (723 meters). Together, these peaks total an impressive 2,153 meters in elevation – which is nearly the height of two Eiffel Towers stacked together! The trek itself spanned a grueling 24 miles, the equivalent of walking nearly a marathon but up and down mountains and across rugged terrain. Tackling all three peaks within 12 hours is no small feat, and we’re proud to say we completed it in a remarkable time of 8 hours and 51 minutes.
But this journey was about more than just personal endurance; it was about making a difference. Every step we took was fueled by our commitment to RMHC, a charity we’ve proudly supported for many years. RMHC provides families with a “home away from home” when they need it most – a safe, comfortable place close to the hospital where their child is receiving care. This mission resonates deeply with us, and we set out determined to raise funds that could make a real difference in people’s lives.
Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our supporters, we raised £5,100, enough to cover the cost of housing a family for almost five months. Imagine that impact: one whole year of relief from the financial and emotional stress of finding accommodation, allowing parents to be fully present for their children during one of the most difficult times in their lives. That’s the true significance of this journey, and it’s why we pushed ourselves to complete this challenge.
To everyone who contributed, whether through donations or by sharing our posts and helping spread the word – thank you. Your support created awareness about RMHC’s invaluable work, helping families far beyond this one event. Special thanks go to Nathan Swift from RMHC, whose encouragement and support from beginning to end kept us focused and reminded us why we were doing this in the first place.

This challenge may be over, but our mission to support RMHC continues. Together, we’ve made a meaningful impact that will extend beyond today. Thank you for being part of this effort, and for helping make a difference in the lives of families in need.
