West & West to take on Three Peaks Challenge!
This June, West & West are facing the Three Peaks Challenge. This will see eight members of our team climb the three highest peaks of Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike), and Wales (Snowdon) in 24 hours in recognition of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC).
Fortunately, not many of us will experience our children being in hospital. But for those who do, RMHC provides free accommodation close to children’s wards to relieve the stress of travelling long distances that some families face. With 12 houses across the UK, families are offered a warm and comfortable place to rest, eat and relax just moments away from their child’s hospital ward, a service that is invaluable to families at these most critical times in their lives.
Our Commercial Director Rob McGill writes “8 men, 3 Peaks, 24 hours, all in the name of charity. We are all incredibly nervous to be carrying out this challenge to ultimately raise money for Ronald McDonald House Oxford, which helps so many people through tough times. So please, please donate whatever you can so we can raise as much as possible for this incredible charity.”
RMHC has supported 50,000 families since its conception in 1989, and we are hoping to contribute to their hard work by raising a total of £5,000. We have already raised an impressive £300, but we need your help to reach our goal. Your contribution will make a massive difference to the lives of families with sick children and will be vital in order for RMHC to continue their amazing work.
